Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board Continuing Education Classes

At Advancing the Needle, we are Ohio based, and our instructors are Master Electricians, Master Plumbers, and business professionals with a combined 75+ years of construction industry experience.  This depth of experience allows us to provide well-run and interesting training.  We offer classes for:

If you need CE credits for your electrical, HVAC, or plumbing licensure, we have the business and industry experience to speed you through your continuing education license renewal process with ease!

Our trainers have run their own highly successful contracting businesses for decades, and have worked with the OCILB for years.  Our agency is licensed by the state of Ohio (Training Agency Lic: 50349) to provide you with continuing education through our state-certified curricula.


We focus on in-person and live online training, as we feel that it’s important for you to be able to get support as you need it, as well as have your questions answered on the spot.  The OCILB allows for only a percentage of your class to be conducted as online self-study, so we see it as simpler to just complete it all at once!  We provide a supportive and encouraging atmosphere in our classes.  We also encourage your interaction and questions!
