How do I register for classes?

Find the class that you are interested in, then choose the date that suits you best. Locate and push the Purchase Class button and follow the prompts to register.

Am I able to reschedule if I can’t attend the class?

We understand that situations arise and sometimes things can’t be helped. If something occurs that will keep you from attending your scheduled class, that’s no problem. Just contact us to let us know that you won’t be in attendance and we will apply your class fee to the next class time that is convenient for you.

Is prepayment required?

Prepayment is required for our online Zoom classes to hold your spot. Prepayment is encouraged to secure your seat for in person classes, but it is not required. We accept walk in attendance to in person classes.

How will the OCILB know that I completed the renewal requirements?

Upon your successful completion of class, we inform the board the same day.

What form of payment can I use?

We accept online payments via credit/debit card. In person payments can be made via cash, check or credit card.

Which OCILB requirements can I complete with Advancing The Needle?

Both types of OCILB classes, namely the 8 hour continuing education for license renewal class and the 40 hour code class for contractor licensing can be taken with us. Additionally, the normal 8 hour class now counts as credit for Electrical Safety Inspector.

Where is the classroom facility located?

Our in person classroom location is 100 N Galway Dr Granville, OH 43023

We also use various other locations around the state, which will be clearly spelled out in each class that has a location different from this one.

Do you offer training other than OCILB specific classes?

Yes, our agency is fully equipped to provide complete business training and review (at your site or our facility). The topics we cover are Big 5 Expense review to recover lost profitability, software usage (QB, Housecall Pro, Service Titan, Microsoft Office bundle), onsite live call Ride Along Sales Training with your techs, and an interactive experience that we call Residential Electrical Expert Service System workshop.
